Matrix of Liberty

After viewing Kirk Cameron’s movie, Monumental, with our neighborhood Bible group, we were astonished by the fact that we had never heard of the National Monument to the Forefathers and so I endeavored to share this new found information with others. The monument has been in existence for over 125 years and yet is not mentioned in schoolbooks even though it carries extreme significance for our country. Our founders believed that the Matrix of Liberty, when applied would produce Christian character without which they felt certain “there would be no basis for a free and just nation.”

The monument is exquisitely made and breathtakingly beautiful. It not only honors the Pilgrims and the sacrifices and sufferings they endured in order to establish a society where they could worship God freely but the monument is a message, a blueprint, for our generation and future generations to follow if we wish to maintain a free society.

The message of the monument is simply this: That with Morality, Law, Education, and Liberty, with Faith in God almighty, a free nation can exist. The country that we know and love will become something completely different than what our founders intended if we don't maintain these values.
Many God-fearing, divinely-led, brave Americans have suffered and died for our freedoms, and they should not have died in vain.

After researching the monument further, contacting the Pilgrim Society for associated reading material and corresponding with Dr. Paul Jehle, Education Director of Plymouth Rock Foundation, I used my graphic art skills to develop a poster that could be used as a teaching tool to enlighten
and educate fellow Americans. The Matrix of Liberty Poster reflects the beauty and magnificence of the monument coupled with educational facts and sprinkled with a few encouraging quotes.

Through prayer and God willing, together we can all help turn our country around ... “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
   In Jesus' name, Amen.
